The American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society holds its 2026 annual meeting in Seattle, Washington, jointly with the ninth biennial meeting of IFFAS. AOFAS is based in Schaumburg, Illinois, represents orthopaedic surgeons whose practice centres on the foot and ankle, and publishes the journals Foot & Ankle International and Foot & Ankle Orthopaedics. Running the American annual meeting together with the IFFAS gathering turns the Seattle programme into an international foot and ankle surgery conference rather than a purely domestic one, with the AOFAS scientific session and the IFFAS sessions scheduled back to back.
