Annual scientific meeting of the International Society of Pharmacovigilance, dedicated to pharmacovigilance and drug safety for a membership spanning 118 countries.

The 25th ISoP Global Meeting takes place from 22 to 25 September 2026 at the InterContinental Costa Rica at Multiplaza Mall in the Escazú district of San José, Costa Rica. It is organised by the International Society of Pharmacovigilance under the theme Ecosystems of trust: Pharmacovigilance for a Healthier World, and ISoP lists it on its own site as the 2026 edition of its annual meeting series.

For drug safety professionals looking for a pharmacovigilance conference in 2026 or a Latin American drug safety meeting, the published topic list runs to fourteen tracks. These span special populations safety, digital transformation and AI, risk management, regulatory science and PV systems, culture, trust and ethics, evidence generation, pharmacoepidemiology and signal management, medication errors, medical devices, vaccines and public health, wider PV horizons, regional advances, and patient and professional development. Four pre-conference courses precede the main programme on the opening day, addressing leadership in pharmacovigilance, signal management and detection, global safety surveillance systems built on FDA and Uppsala Monitoring Centre data sources, and PV audit compliance and inspection readiness under GVP Module IX.

Registration fees are quoted in US dollars and split between high income and non-high income countries, with separate commercial, not-for-profit and student rates for members and non-members, ranging from 380 to 1,650 US dollars. The fee covers access to the meeting plus coffee breaks, refreshments and lunch. Holding the meeting in San José places a global pharmacovigilance forum in Central America, and the scientific committee is complemented by a Costa Rican local organising committee whose members include the coordinator of the national pharmacovigilance centre, making the programme relevant to regulators from national centres as well as to industry safety teams.
