The ACNM 71st Annual Meeting & Exhibition is the national gathering of the American College of Nurse-Midwives and is held at the Kansas City Convention Center in Kansas City, Missouri. ACNM presents the meeting as its continuing education, networking, clinical and business event for certified nurse-midwives and certified midwives across the United States.

The programme opens on 9 October 2026 with a day of full day and half day workshops, including hands on training such as Foundations of Perineal Repair: Hands-on Suturing for Midwives, which includes a focused pharmacology component worth 0.75 RxCE, alongside breech training, obstetric triage and certification exam preparation. Subsequent days combine concurrent education sessions with plenary addresses from speakers including Sarah Shealy, Jamilla Perritt and Melissa Cheyney, the 38th Annual Therese Dondero Memorial Lecture on Microbiome Restoration in Infants given by Maria Gloria Dominguez-Bello, poster presentations, an opening ceremony and an awards and fellows induction ceremony, and a closing address from Peter Johnson.

Midwives searching for a midwifery conference in the United States, a nurse-midwifery continuing education meeting or ACNM annual meeting registration will find full access rates that ran at early bird prices until 14 May 2026 and at regular prices until 8 October 2026, with onsite registration also available. The call for abstracts closed on 1 March 2026. Kansas City is served by Kansas City International Airport, roughly 19 miles and about 23 minutes from the convention centre, and the venue hosts the exhibit hall and midwifery market where employers, midwifery education programmes and clinical suppliers meet delegates, alongside the region meetings and board meetings that handle ACNM governance.
