The AACAP Legislative Conference is an advocacy meeting at which members of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry meet with lawmakers. Held every year in Washington, DC, it brings US members to Capitol Hill to meet with Congress. AACAP holds the conference for its own members in child and adolescent psychiatry, and it is not a trade fair. Hotels in the capital change between editions: the Hilton Washington DC National Mall The Wharf hosted in 2026, the Washington Plaza Hotel follows in 2027.
